Training for the 2016 Season Has Begun

Monday 16th of May 2016 saw the start of the 2016 Season for the Logan City Bengals Mens and Colts Teams, with the Ladies Jets team earning a delayed start till Wednesday Night to allow some of their Qld SunDevils representatives well earned night off after a long, but successful, National Championship season over the past few months.

The Bengals Seniors and Colts trained together on Monday and Wednesday nights and under the eyes of their 6 coaches rotating through a number of basic drills with great enthusiasm. The many Rookies followed the lead of the returning experienced veterans as they performed the unfamiliar drills and the coaches were very impressed with the raw skills and athleticism of the new Rookie Class on display.

At their new Home at Kookaburra Park, St Brendans JRLFC, Rocklea the Brisbane Bears Mens and Colts and Ladies of the Brisbane Saints also kicked off their 2016 Seasons with training also on Monday and Wednesday Nights.

It is not too late to join the our teams!

If you are in Logan or Far South of Brisbane check out the Bengals or the Jets, if you are in the West or South West of Brisbane check out the Bears or Saints! With fixtures kicking off in mid-August there is still plenty of time to get down to training and give this fantastic sport a go! All ages 14+, All Fitness Levels and all Sizes are extremely welcome - absolutley No Experience is necessary just a keen willingness to 'Have a Go'. You can find contact information for the Club on the Contacts Tab at the top of the page or check out our various pages on this website or on Facebook.
